The best traditional Hellenic (Greek) food you can find. All dishes are amazing. Best value for money. Great quality and quite fair portions. The view is breathtaking, right next to the sea and you can see the sunset. If you are lucky enough you might listen to some live music from the local musicians.

The service, proximity to beach, the staff and the food were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for honest Karpathian cuisine amongst other Greek specialties.We tried the stuffed zucchini flowers which were divine. I recommend, the fried local shrimp, the burgers, the boiled greens, the Karpathian salad, the fries and the fava. Everything was excellent!!!The people who run the restaurant are super friendly and welcoming. I would go to this restaurant every day happily!!!!!

Dopo avere sperimentato ( con esito assai deludente) per la prima settimana a Karpathos le varie taverne dell’isola, siamo capitati da Glaros dove ad accoglierci per prima cosa è stato il meraviglioso sorriso di Sofia....poi il cibo buonissimo ... pieno di gusto, amore e di rispetto per il cibo e per il cliente. Complimenti! ci siamo tornati per altre 7 volte e ci siamo alzati da tavola SEMPRE contenti e soddisfatti. Grazie Sofia. Maria

Se vuoi mangiare bene,tutto a km 0 ,accompagnato da una accoglienza familiare( quasi un obbligo morale per i greci) e goderti un bellissimo panorama questo è il locale adatto. Perfetto anche per vegetariani/celiaci/mangiare senza lattosio! Lo staff saprà soddisfare con gentilezza ogni richiesta!che dire,dopo una bella visita ad akrotiri un pranzo qui è d’obbligo!

Excelet restaurant, with lovely view. The food is delicious and you have plenty of different choices. The staff is really friendly and can make you laugh. The prices are moderate - not very different from other tavernas around. It is also good for families, they offer children's menu (for example chicken nuggets). The service.is quite fast and after the meal you get complimentary dessert (watermelon) and a shot of local spirit.

Ok, I have not been in every single restaurant of the island. However, after having visited for 6 times, I have tried quite a few and Glaros is still No1 for me. Try the crabcakes, the mussels linguini, the octapus salad, just to mention few of their specialties. The place is right by the wavy beach of Saint Nicholas in Arkassa, making it ideal for lunch or dinner after a day of swimming and sunbathing. I cannot wait to go again, next time I am in Karpathos.

Glaros is mijn favoriete eetgelegenheid rond Arkassa. De sfeer laat wat te wensen over, maar inmiddels zijn de TL lamoen vervangen door gewone lampen. Het eten is geweldig, onvoorstelbaar gezien de letterlijk kleine keuken. Hier blijf ik al jaren terugkomen.

Die wunderbare Strandlage am Agios Nikolaos Beach, die große Auswahl an Speisen sowohl auf der Tageskarte als auch am normalen menue, meist netter Service, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Empfehlenswert!
