We were looking for a local place to have some delicious Greek food. After several rounds within Palekastro we ended up in Restaurant Elena. It turned out to be a perfect match. Very attentive and helpful service, great food and family atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Nous avons rarement aussi bien mangé en Crète! C’était terriblement bon, nous avons pris les metze en entrée, pour découvrir les saveurs grecques c’était l’idéal. Ensuite nos plats était parfait. L’accueil est vraiment chaleureux, la patronne est souriante et vraiment au petit soin de ses clients. Nous avons adoré ce restaurant, à découvrir absolument!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Elena. La pita (spécialité d'Elena) est excellente, sans parler de la côte de porc !Vin et friandises offerts. Qualité/Prix 👍 nous y reviendrons certainement.

Located in the city center of Palekastro, the restaurant Elena, is a nice and frendly place, with traditional Greek menu. Very reasonable prices, the food is really delicious and with a splendid service. The staff were so kind and hospitable. Wonderful. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Palekastro.

Eine nette,kleine Taverne mit einer umwerfend freundlichen Inhaberin. Das Essen selbst ist gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Dafür aber eine nette Atmosphäre, die durch Elena weiter verbessert wird. Es gibt die üblichen Nachspeisen wie Obst und Raki auf Kosten des Hauses, aber dargereicht mit einer Herzlichkeit wie ich sie auch in 46 Jahren GR noch nicht erlebt habe.

Ausgesprochen freundliche und familiäre Bewirtung und gute kretische Küche. Es lohnt, nach den Tagesempfehlungen zu fragen, die z.T. nicht auf der Karte stehen.
