We are here twice during our stay and Chef Jorges creates delicious seafood. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Highly recommend the restaurant to get a flavour of excellent local food.

We have tried the top 4 restaurants in Porto Heli as recommended by Tripadvisor and Hippocampus led the other 3 by a long stride in terms of food quality, portion size and culinary skills and uniqueness. Their Kotsi (pork knuckle) was the best we have tried in Greece. As for their tuna, it was simply glorious. As we were a super large group, we managed to sample most of their dishes and they were all surprisingly of a high calibre. Bravo Hippocampos! Keep it up!!! 😊

The best creative Ceviche I ever had was at the Hippocampus restaurant in Portoheli: a delcate composition of citrus juices and herbs with super fresh white pieces of a delicious fish. Almost like an aquarelle tasting experience. Highly recommended after the more classical eggplanf slightly spiced salad.

Welcoming staff, fine and fresh food that doesn’t disappoint in presentation as well as the taste. Definitely would recommend this place when you want to take a break from the traditional Greek restaurants.

Just delicious! Although the restaurant had a certain menu (most dishes were prepared with fresh fish), there was no problem to ask for a simple plate of orzo or pasta for our child. The fresh sea urchin salad was great as well as the white cod roe salad. But the best of all was a fresh tuna steak grilled to a perfection! The best I have ever tasted! Definitely a great choice!
