Most beautiful boutique hotel situated among ancient olive plantations. I usually don't swim in hotel pools, but this one felt very private and well looked after, just as the rest of the property. Love how they used own or at least locally sourced food, however, the dinner portions tended to be rather small. Can only recommend to rewind and simply be!

This is a lovely place to stay, far, but not too far, from the razzmatazz of the coast. Wonderful food, splendid landscape, friendly, personal and well-informed staff, a lovely swimming pool and rooms in a set of renovated village houses. A perfect combination of the nostalgic, modern and serene. Wonderful garden too. A privilege to stay there. i would return.

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage mit sehr höflichem und netten Personal. Es wird Ihnen bei allen Fragen geholfen. Das Hotel ist so wie auf den Bildern einfach traumhaft mit einer wundervollen Flora. Das Restaurant ist gehobene Klasse und versucht die Einheimische Küche sehr spannend zu interpretieren. Ein Hotel zum wiederkommen.

Very nice project with great taste and great respect for the tradition of the old village. Excellent restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. All in all quite near Rethymno and Arkadi. We had a great 3 days!

A truly beautiful hotel, very relaxed, wonderful architecture and planting. A sanctuary to relax. Great pool, staff and delicious food. I couldn't recommend it more. Rooms are spacious and cool. St in the hills, great view of beautiful Crete.

Prachtig complex met zeer mooie kamers. Super keuken met sterrenniveau. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, kortom 5* meer dan waard. Prijs-kwaliteit onklopbaar. Wie het hier niet naar zijn zin heeft blijft beter thuis!

Just back from our third visit to Kapsaliana. We don't get away often and when we do we want complete R&R and that's what we get. To begin with - it's the most beautiful place - calm, quiet and very comfortable. The staff are wonderful and we now regard them as friends. The food and wine is just delicious too. Very sad to come home! We will return.

Nous étions a la recherche d'un hôtel loin de la foule et des immenses complexes hoteliers et avons été charmés par Kapsaliana.l'hôtel est magnifique, pleins de charme et avec une vrai histoire. Il y a peu de chambre et une tranquillité absolue. La décoration est sobre et les chambres spacieuses. Excellent restaurant et petit déjeuné accompagné d'un service efficace, chaleureux et discret.On a qu'une envie s'est d'y rester plus d'y retourner très vite....

Ik heb nog niet eerder een 10 uitgedeeld voor een vakantie, maar Kapsaliana Village verdient 'm! Absolute perfectie: de staff, de kamers, het hele complex is 1 en al rust, stijlvol, simpelweg perfect. Ook het restaurant, met de lekkerste wijnen en de mooiste gerechten... We komen snel terug!

Kapsaliana is a beautifully restored Cretan hamlet, in the hills behind the coast. The "cottages" are a series of decent sized rooms, mostly with their own terrace or garden. Very quiet, with a lovely garden and pool, it also has a great restaurant cooking delicious local dishes. The bedrooms are simple but stylish, with quality linen. 20 minutes drive into Rethymno for good shopping and nightlife and only 90 minutes from Heraklion airport, Kapsaliana is a gem.
