A lovely cool place to dine with a super friendly Owner. For 28 years he has run a restaurant in his father's former home. Recommended by him delicious Greek dishes eaten and closed together with raki.

A fabulous taverna which has at least 2 visits each time we go to Almyrida. Amazing menu and the beef stifado is one of many wonderful dishes. At the end of the meal you will be given the most delicious chocolate cake ‘on the house’ There’s always a warm welcome from the owner so it’s well worth the visit.

Ce restaurant est situé à l'entrée de la "ville", un peu à l'écart, mais il vaut clairement le détour !Les plats sont de qualités, généreux et nous sommes immergés dans une famille crétoise ; tout était parfait ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Excellent food, lovely people who were very friendly cannot fault anything we ate. Beef Stifado in particular was delicious.

This taverna is just outside main strip of restaurants, but definately worth a visit.The beef stifado was excellent and pork chop just pefectly cooked. The presentation of food isn't up to the standards of some local restaurants but its traditional cretan style food. Service is perfect and staff are very friendly. We had a litre of wine with meal a greek salad, complimentary chocolate cake and raki, and bill was €31!

Went there there the first night in Crete... and made a detour in roder to eat again there when returning to Chania.Excellent food, with excellent ingredients.Very nice people.A splendid terasse under the trees...I will certainly return there, even if it is only to say Hello and have a nice lunch with fresh see food.Rapprot qualité/Prix exceptionnel ; ça vaut le détour.
