One of most authentic and unique places I've ever seen! The real life is even better than the pictures and the staff and atmosphere are just amazing. So much thought and detail went into converting this place, it's absolutely worth staying there!

Endroit tout simplement magique.au calme. Chambres spacieuses avec piscines privées, calmes. Personnel attentif, repas au top. Le luxe sans être guindé Proche de sougia et des gorges de samaria pour des activités, et sur place pour farniente.

Monastery estate retreat is such a treat! A hidden gem in the mountains, near marvellous gorges and just 4km from the village of Sougia. The hotel is surrounded by nature in a traditional corner of Crete. The team is incredibly nice, helpful, professional. The rooms are beautiful and confortable and breakfasts are delicious. The team gives fabulous tips. We spent a wonderful time at Monastery Estate.

There are 5 apartments, we stayed for a week in one with a balcony with a view of the mountains. This is a great spot for exploring south west Crete, We liked the walking, Lissos, Samaria (the big one) and Irinis - take plenty of water! Also trips to Paleochora and Elafonisi. Managed a lot of laying on beaches too. You need a car. Managed by Flora who is most welcoming and helpful and makes tasty breakfast and an evening meal if wanted. Sougia has good restaurants and bars.

if you want a luxury room near the beach, think about monastery. here you will find peace and silent for your relax. take your time to enjoy the house where the owner is very lovely. I repeat to go to manastery if you want something really out of noises and tipical touristic tavernas or shops. the beach of sougia, 4 km far, is very beautiful.

Ce sont des maisons transformées en hôtel dans la montagne au calme . Grande chambre propre et spacieuse équipée d’un coin cuisine. Terrasse individuelle avec jacuzzi.Parking devant l’hôtel .Le personnel a été très accueillant donnant les explications et des conseils en particulier pour le repas dans un restaurant crétois à 10 mn à pied . Excellent. Bon petit déjeuner.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 nuits de ce petit coin de paradis.L’hôtel est un mélange d’ancien magnifiquement rénové et de récent.Chaque chambre possède son jacuzzi ou sa petite piscine privative. L’accueil est excellent, la localisation et le calme également.A faire sans hésiter.

Wirklich perfekt - In einem kleinen Dorf im Hinterland von Sougia liegt diese tolle Unterkunft. Sowohl die Unterkunft als auch der Service und die herzlichen Gastgeber sind einfach herausragend. Für die Selbstversorgung gibt es eine gut ausgestattete Küche - ein Frühstück mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten oder andere Snacks gibt es auch immer frisch zubereitet. Nach Sougia sind es 10 Minuten mit dem Auto und in der Region lässt es sich hervorragend wandern.
