This a special place to visit and such a find you won’t be disappointed. The views are lovely in a traditional rustic place serving traditional Greek homemade food. A must visit in rural Greece.

This is the most authentic place we have visited in many years. The Greek night organised by Effie and her husband George was very enjoyable with great food ( the lemon beef was to die for ) and experience dancing in the street - literally !!! Its a small place and can be easily missed as you drive up through the village. Its about half way up on the left hand side. Meet up with local Greek people and become part of "the real Greece" for a few hours. We'll definitely be going back.

What a great evening we had at the Old time Cafe.We were made extremely welcome by Efi and George who although had family around for the evening, made us feel a part of the gathering.Food was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.Views over the valley are stunning ( we initially visited it in the daytime for a much needed drink)Situated on a hillside in the village of Troiannata east of Argostoli on the beautiful island of Kefalonia.One day we will return.

This picturesque little family-owned restaurant has amazing homemade food and panoramic views of the Robola vineyards. On our way to Robola wine tasting we stopped by to get some refreshments. However, we ended up getting a couple of plates, such as kolokithokeftedes, ntomatokeftedes. These have been the most delicious plates we have had on the island, well done Efi!!!!
