Went out for a meal at Saffron last night. We ordered some prawn crackers to start us off which were pleasant enough although the dipping sauce tastes more like a cheap tomato ketchup. A sweet chilli dip would have been much better. That aside, we ordered 2 Chinese meals along with fried rice both of which were excellent. Saffron is possibly not the most luxurious restaurant but the food was excellent.

Πολύ ωραίο ινδικό, εφάμιλλο των Αθηναϊκών εστιατορίων. Τα πιάτα που δοκιμάσαμε δεν ήταν πολύ καυτερά, ταιριάζουν στο ελληνικό στυλ. Νοστιμότατα τα λαχανικά με κάρυ, το ρύζι με σαφράν και τα νααν και ευγενέστατοι οι ιδιοκτήτες. Θα το ξαναεπισκεφτούμε με την πρώτη ευκαιρία!

An Indian restaurant full of authenticity, welcoming staff and huge flavour!We were treated to a sample of their dishes at the Rethymno food festival and it was so delicious we then returned to the restaurant twice on our 10 days holiday! The butter masala curry is so good, with so much flavour.I’d highly recommend, price also great compared to other local restaurants!

Rethymno has been waiting for an Indian resaurant for a long time and this one has been worth the wait. A full and varied menu of both Indian and Chinese food and all reasonably priced. We ate from the Indian menu, very tasty and generous servings. Definitely a 5 star experience, we will be going again.

Πολύ καλή επιλογή για ινδικό φαγητό στο Ρέθυμνο!! Όσα δοκιμάσαμε εξαιρετικά, ποιοτικά και καθόλου βαριά!! Must είναι τα Naan, ινδικές παραδοσιακές πίτες!!

Μια κουζίνα (ινδική) που μου αρέσει πολύ από τότε που εμένα στο εξωτερικό για πολύ καιρό και μου είχε λείψει, βρέθηκε στο Ρέθυμνο ! Έχω φάει 2 φορές και είναι πολύ καλή
