The boss Theo and waiter Peter are very friendly and nice people. The food prepared with love by Maria is simply good across the menu. Mythos is served in ice-cold glasses. A clear recommendation from us!

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten maar wat het mooist was waren de goede zorgen en aandacht van Maria. Ik voelde me niet goed na een kwallenbeet en er werd alles aan gedaan om me wel goed te laten voelen. Verse Jus D'orange (die heeeeeel lekker was) en allerlei andere hulpmiddelen werden ingezet. Wat een fijne mensen hier! Ik voelde me snel beter en heb samen met mijn man Jimmy genoten van meatballs in sauce, makarounes & Greek Salad. Thank you Maria!

This restaurant is the best restaurant in Kira. And I must admit, the best real Greek food on the entire island as well. Maria is an amazing hostess and chef, and super kind and funny too. Best makarounes we’ve had on Karpathos, best kalamaria (freshly caught by Maria’s husband) and best Greek food in general. This is the real Greek cuisine, my Greek grandmother would definitely approve ;-)

Very tasty food, fresh local dishes. We had the small Karpathian shrimps, “makarounes” (a type of local home made pasta), fried squid, stuffed zucchini flowers & goat cheese. All were excellent and despite the food was a lot, it was so delicious we managed to eat it all ! And on top a plate of freshly made “loukoumades” with honey which were offered to us free ! Maria gave excellent service !

Great food and great people! Theodoses and Maria make amazing food. The fish are fresh caught daily by the owner and his wife cooks everything to order. We loved the baby shrimp and the red snapper. And you must have their Greek yogurt with fruit and honey for dessert! We ate here multiple times during our stay in Karpathos, very close to the beach!

Frischer selbstgefangener Fisch! Haben da 6mal gegessen und waren immer begeistert. Fleisch Gemüse Fisch alles wie lebendig! Das sieht man einfach und schmeckt man! Nach der Rechnung ..... Süßes, Obst und Schnaps .... Toller Platz! Tolle Preise ! Die Insel ist der Hammer. Karibik ? Warum so lange fliegen ! 6 Sterne ?! Jaaaaaa ! Nächstes Jahr wieder !

excellente cuisine familiale et traditionnelle cuisinée avec des produits frais (ce n'est pas souvent le cas en Grèce!! Le poulpe et les crevettes grillées sont exceptionnels La grosse dorade et tous les mezzés sont déclicieux. C'est pas prétentieux, c'est fait-maison et le couple de jeunes tenanciers (Sofia et théo) est adorable.

Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questa tavernetta a conduzione familiare praticamente ogni sera. Con 20 Euro a testa mangiavamo un antipasto, un secondo di pesce vino acqua coca cola, frittelle della casa e digestivo. La cordialità di Maria e del marito Teo ti fanno sentire a casa. Consigliato!

Tipica taverna molto semplice, praticamente siamo in casa di Maria, la proprietaria. Ci siamo stati piú volte, non chidete il menù ma fatevi dire da Maria cosa ha preparato di buono, non .rimarrete delusi sopratutto se h a fatto la moussaka

Si tratta di una piccola e semplice taverna poco distante dalla spiaggia di Kira Panagia (150 m).Abbiamo pranzato in due con un'ottimo piatto di polipo e un piatto di peperoni e pomodori ripieni (riso, carne, pinoli).Il pesce era freschissimo, la verdura gustosa, Tutto è stato accompagnato da pane fatto in casa (il migliore mangiato sull'isola).Prezzo ragionevole: 18 € in due.
