Great out of the way hotel away from the hustle and bustle of central central Athens. Great spot for restaurants and bars away from the tourist places. Highly recommend having a pre dinner drink on the rooftop watching the sun set over Athens with views of the Pantheon in the distance.

What a fantastic hotel!I enjoyed every minute of my staying there.Classy,elegant,clean and very modern rooms.But the great advantage of this hotel was the roof top bar.Fascinating view of the beautiful Athens,great quality drinks and food.And the in charge person of the bar Marios was a great professional,very polite and friendly with deep knowledge of the menu and the drink suggestions as also with his recommendations with places and sights that I could visit during my staying in Athens.

This place is amazing! From service to the decor, every single detail is thought through for your experience. I loved the compact but yet funcional spaces in the room, the internet is fast , I was working half of time the trip , and it worked as great WFH hotel. The rooftop bar is so nice and made our last night much more fun. This hotel is so great that made it even harder to say goodbye to Athens, but I’m hoping I’ll be back and def will stay here again.

Highly rated hotel in my opinion, away from the noise and clubs, but a close walking distance to the shopping area and attractions.Super friendly staff and a chic and modern decor.Breakfast included.Would love to stay here again Nice baloney and you can see the view of the Parthenon from there and the Rooftop.A lot of nice dining areas nearby.

We loved the design, the super friendly and helpful staff, the stunning view from the roof top terrace, excellent breakfast and easy location. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you for a great stay. Check out the design of the bathrooms and bedroom, as modern, stylish and comfortable. Some clever features and thoughtful touches. We loved the welcome message and treats too.

The hotel is in a great location - a little away from the hustle and bustle of the Plaka area, but it is close enough to get there easily. The breakfast is amazing (huge variety of delicious Greek choices), and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. The rooftop area is a nice bonus. Most importantly, we felt SO welcomed. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help in any way possible.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Modernist Athens during a brief visit to the city. The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. They attended to all our needs and went above in securing us a dinner reservation, printing some documents and giving us guidance to get around the city to see the major attractions. The breakfast included in our rate was fabulous. We highly recommend and will come back for a longer stay next time we visit Athens!

Staff was super friendly and helpful, almost got me to forget about this whole pandemic. Hotel is in great shape and the location suited me perfectly. Definitely highly recommend and already on my shortlist for my return to Athens. Cannot wait!

I visited the first week it opened. Amazing boutique hotel, great design till the last detail, super professional and polite personell, all of this at a great price, in the center of Athens! Superb!!!
